Address:
4676 NYS Route 414, Burdett, NY 14818
Description:

With small batch distillation crafted in Burdett, New York, Finger Lakes Distilling is the first stand-alone distillery located in the Finger Lakes Region. Without shortcuts, we distill a handcrafted product using corn, rye, barley, among other fruits and grains, that are grown right here, on nearby, small farms. Flavored vodkas and liqueurs are made in the traditional manner with no extracts or synthetic flavorings to speed up the process. Likewise, our whiskies rest in oak barrels for as long as they need to mature. Even our process honors tradition. To minimize waste, Finger Lakes Distilling partners with local farmers who use fermented grain as animal feed. Our reclaimed distillery oak floors share a life with the former siding of a tobacco barn in Kentucky, and we even harvested the wood bordering our tasting bar from a local barn. The design of Finger Lakes Distilling also pays homage to tradition. Inspired by the classic style of Scottish distilleries, Finger Lakes Distilling erects white walls, black trim, and a sturdy pagoda roof. Whiskey, gin, vodka, brandy and grappa, and liqueurs: our 17 different spirits celebrate the spirit of local agriculture and the Finger Lakes of New York.
